We’re excited to share our most recent collaboration with Cartier Women’s Initiative in the form of exclusive customized scarfs for their annual award event. This year’s event took place in Shenzhen, China with prominent figures like supermodel Karlie Kloss and Olympic diving champion Guo Jingjing in attendance.
This collaboration is especially meaningful, as it was just last year that our Founder, Denica Riadini-Flesch, stood among the crowd of internationally recognized fellows as an awardee, representing the South Asia and Central Asia region. She brought the stories of our women artisans to the global stage, sharing the journey of learning and collaboration it has taken to arrive at this point – with still a long way to go. Fast forward to a year later, it’s so refreshing to see that our Ibus continues to be celebrated! This time, in the form of their meticulously handcrafted batik and naturally dyed scarves for guests of the event.
This partnership is a demonstration of our shared commitment to empower lives while also preserving Indonesia’s indigenous crafts so that it will live on, enjoyed, and cherished by many across different cultures, fields and industries. Showing that a resilient future is within reach through the power of collaboration.
