In 2019, Mercedes-Benz was looking to reinterpret Indonesia's heritage for their Mother's Day gifting occasion. And so, they reached out via SukkhaCitta to champion heritage crafts and inquired exclusive customizations for this occasion.
We then customized the special silk scarves that adorn the traditional Kawung motif, reinterpreted into blooming flowers through hand-drawn batik. To make the design more bespoke, we added special signatures that depict the three-stars of the company.
